For the fourth year in a row, Harold + Ferne will be hosting the Art Market for Roots North Music Festival at St Paul's in downtown Orillia. Roots North is a locally grown music festival run by dedicated volunteers. We feel really lucky to partner with them and bring festival goers a beautiful selection of locally made goods to browse between shows on Friday and Saturday evenings. 

 

We have a few booths to open up to the public, so send in an application if you would be interested in selling your handmade wares at this year's Roots North Art Market. Details below:

Logistics

The Festival takes place at St Paul’s Great Hall in Downtown Orillia with the Art Market located downstairs in the basement with the band merch, records, refreshments and bar. Festival goers are encouraged to venture down to our marketplace between shows. The Art Market takes place from 6:00-10:00 on Friday April 26 and Saturday April 27. Set up is on Friday between 10:00-3:00 and tear down happens on Saturday night after the market closes.


Vendors keep 100% of sales and can choose to accept whatever forms of payment preferred. There is wi-fi available at the venue.


The space is locked up during the day when we are not there so you are able to leave product overnight without worrying about theft.

3’ Booth -$50
Half of a 6’ table shared with another Maker
Or, a 3’ stand alone display

6’ Booth - $75
A full 6’ table
Or, half of a table and a 3’ standalone display

Notes

There are 3’ tables available for use at St Paul’s. If you do not have access to a 6’ table but would like to choose that display option then we can put two tables together no problem.

The 3’ standalone display refers to a free standing display you may have - you will get approximately 3’-4’ of floor space (depending on how big your display is)

There is wi-fi at the church so that you may offer credit card payments to customers through your phone. Whether you charge tax is up to you.

Olivia and/or Celeste will be there both nights to help out but you will be responsible for manning your booth.

There are three shows each night. The market is busy before the first show and for the half hour between shows. On Saturday evening, we will pack up once the last show starts.

Tickets have sold out the last few years and non-ticket holders are able to visit the Art Market so there is always a good crowd!
